A Macquarie University Research Excellence PhD Scholarship (MQRES) associated with successful ARC grant DP110104560, is available in the Department of Computing. The research project will investigate fundamental problems in exploiting Dynamic Information in order to design efficient applications. The research focus is on determining what tasks can be performed by the mobile entities, under what conditions, and at what cost. In particular,to determine what minimal hypotheses allow a given problem to be solved in a mobile network. Eligible candidates will need a solid Computer Science background in graph and distributed algorithms. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD22860 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.
