Applications are invited from qualified candidates to undertake a 3 year PhD project as part of the ARC Discovery Project DP1094144 ‘Addiction, moral identity and moral agency’. This is an interdisciplinary study conducted in Sydney and Melbourne with collaborators from the fields of public health, philosophy, psychology and neuroscience. The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of this study but especially in examining the phenomenology of moral identity, practices and attitudes in the context of drug addiction, and implications for drug policy and treatment. The position is available to domestic applicants who have an appropriate Bachelors degree with First Class Honours in the arts/humanities, health or social sciences or related disciplines. Familiarity with and experience in the addictions field with direct research experience will be highly regarded. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD22860 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid monthly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
