In 2010 the Dairy Research team of DEEDI (Qld State Govt) relocated to the Gatton Campus of UQ to form a multidisciplinary collaboration with the School of Veterinary Science and the School of Agriculture and Food Science. Applications are invited from qualified individuals who wish to undertake PhD research in dairy cow nutrition. You must hold a minimum of Hons Class I, MPhil or equivalent degree in science, agricultural science, or veterinary science. Applicants must hold or be eligible to hold an APA scholarship. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from February 28, 2011 until April 18, 2011.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD5000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Animal production, Other agricultural, veterinary and environmental sciences or Veterinary sciences. It is required that your study starts no later than May 1, 2011.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
