PhD Student position Legal Philosophy

We welcome applications by candidates interested in writing a dissertation on a theme of legal philosophy or that combines legal and political philosophy. Candidates will have a masters degree or the equivalent in philosophy or in law, and a strong interest in doing research in a very active international and interdisciplinary research environment. The length of the PhD (3 or 4 years) will be determined by the Department on the basis of the successful candidate’s previous academic degrees and level of earlier education. We also expect excellent academic qualifications and writing skills. The selected candidate is expected to have written a PhD thesis (which may be based on articles) by the end of the contract.
