This project, funded by Het Waddenfonds (VROM Ministerie voor Volkshuisvesting, Ruimtelijke Ordening en Milieu) is part of the large scale interdisciplinary research programme MOSSELWAD. This research programme is a joint effort of the Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research (NIOZ Texel), The Netherlands Institute for Ecological Research (NIOO-CEME, Yerseke), IMARES, Utrecht University, SOVON Dutch Centre for Field Ornithology and is coordinated by the European Union for Coastal Conservation (EUCC).
